Raw milk in Australia, the legal framework

Raw milk is milk that has not been pasteurised. Under Australian food standards law, raw cow's milk cannot be sold for direct human consumption – a regulation in place since the 1950s. However, it can be legally supplied in bulk to licensed food manufacturers and cheesemakers. If you're a licensed food manufacturer or cheesemaker, we can supply you.

Our raw milk comes from a single source – our herd of pedigree Holstein cows on the banks of the Macquarie River in Dubbo. No blending from multiple farms. No hormones. Antibiotics only when medically necessary, and never in the milk we supply. Our on-farm factory holds Australia's highest food safety license – Grade A – and every batch is traceable to the cow. For producers who care about the provenance and consistency of their ingredients, that matters.
